I love these! They’re a great size to keep in my B5 folio. Really sturdy and sharp. They look fantastic!
I ordered these scissors at the end of November last year and had been looking forward to adding them to my EDC. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different from many of the positive reviews I’ve seen.
The biggest issue is that my pair arrived completely dull. Instead of cutting paper, they simply folded it. I initially assumed they just needed a small adjustment, so I tried tightening the pivot with the correct screwdriver. Only then did I realize that what looks like a screw is actually just a smooth bolt on the opposite side, meaning there is no way to adjust the blade tension. Unfortunately, before noticing this, the bolt head picked up a scratch.
Since adjustment wasn’t possible, I decided to sharpen the blades myself. During this process I discovered that the brass-colored finish is only a coating—the stainless steel underneath became visible, just as described in the product details. While this isn’t technically misleading, it was still disappointing to see the coating wear away so quickly during what should have been a simple maintenance task.
Even after carefully sharpening the blades, the scissors still don’t cut well. The blade geometry or alignment seems to be off, and because the pivot cannot be adjusted, there is no practical way to improve their performance. They still struggle to make clean cuts through ordinary paper.
What makes this especially frustrating is that these scissors look fantastic. The skull design is unique, the craftsmanship appears nice at first glance, and the compact size makes them perfect for everyday carry. Unfortunately, appearance can only go so far. A pair of scissors that doesn’t reliably cut paper fails at its primary purpose.
Perhaps I was simply unlucky and received a defective pair, as many other customers seem happy with theirs. However, based on my own experience, I cannot recommend them. They are an attractive EDC accessory, but mine has proven to be more decorative than functional.
Pros:

Cons:
- Arrived completely dull
- Cannot be adjusted because the pivot uses a fixed bolt instead of an adjustable screw
- Brass coating wears off during sharpening
- Poor cutting performance even after sharpening
Overall, I’m genuinely disappointed because I expected a premium EDC tool, but what I received was an attractive accessory that simply doesn’t perform its intended function.

Such a frivolous splurge and worth it! Adds big character to my desk. Small enough to keep with a journal, but I keep separate.

Shipping
We ship worldwide. All items are sent via our shipping partners UPS/Fedex. Your items may need to be signed for upon receipt.
Due to security reasons, we cannot ship to PO boxes.
Some items are ready for shipment in our workshop, located in Istanbul. In stock items dispatch within 6-7 working days after payment has cleared using our shipping partners, UPS & FedEx. If the item is not in stock, then we will need to make your order.
Deliveries to USA addresses will take 3-4 days. For the UK and Europe, 2-3 days. To Australia, 6-7 days. For the rest of the world, expect a maximum of 7 working days. Plus production times.
- Buyers are responsible for customs duties. There are no additional taxes for goods being delivered to the USA.
- European Union : New rules after 1 July 2021; we charged VAT for orders up to 150€. It means no hidden or extra customs fees during the delivery. Orders more than 150€ subject to customs same as before.
- UK : Orders are subject to VAT. Around %20 percent. + courier fees.
